Security Assistance Corporation offers medical, dental, and vision plans to our employees. Employees may choose from three plans: Blue Preferred (PPO), Opt-out Open Access, and Blue Choice (HMO). Specifics for each plan are provided on the Summary Plan Description (SPD). Employees may add their spouse, domestic partner and/or dependants to their individual plan at pre-established rates.
SAC offers Flexible Spending Account(s) for eligible out-of-pocket healthcare and/or dependent/childcare expenses that you expect to incur for yourself and your dependents during the upcoming plan year. The benefit of "pre-taxing" these expenses is lower taxes and increased spendable income! SAC Flex plan consists of two types of Flexible Spending Accounts or FSA's:
SAC offers a 401(k), Safe Harbor Plan. All employees who participate are eligible to receiving company match and immediate vesting on their contributions.
SAC believes in our employees having a balanced life between work and personal time. We extend the following benefits to help accomplish these beliefs:
SAC pays 100% of the insurance premiums for our Basic Life, Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D), Short Term Disability (STD), and Long Term Disability (LTD). Voluntary Term Life is available to eligible employees who are enrolled in Basic Life for purchasing additional coverage on self, spouse, and dependants.
